The
Negrotto Cambiaso Palace, which was built
in the middle of the XVIII century, is
one of the most outstanding buildings
that overlook the Baia del Silenzio.
Soon after its building, it soon established
itself as a holiday place for the Genoese
nobility. It was subsequently modified
in 1876 in order to be turned, together
with a nearby facility, into a seaside
hospice. A further renovation was carried
out during this century, when the palace
became a school. |
Nowadays
the whole complex is characterised by
a classic inspiration of design, and
it’s structured on three floors.
Its renovation has been commissioned
to the architect Silvano Crocco, who
aimed at the recovery of the original
structure and at the enhancement of the
main hall, the stairs and the main floor. |

| The
building, which is chiefly designated
for research and educational activities,
has got several meeting rooms, rooms
for courses and seminars, as well as
offices, common areas and service areas,
where the initiatives which are promoted
by the Foundation, also in partnership
with other institutions, can be hosted.
